Transport

Buses and Ferries provided by the State Transit Authority service Newington and Wentworth Point. Newington, Wentworth Point is well serviced. Timetables can be found by telephoning 13 1500 or accessing their website on www.sta.nsw.gov.au. In general these buses provide quick and easy access to Strathfield, Parramatta, Lidcombe, Olympic Park Station etc.

Trains run from Olympic park station which is a short walk from either Wentworth Point or Newington and buses also run to this station. See above. Trains are also accessible from Strathfield station, Lidcombe station and Auburn station, all accessible from Newington and Wentworth Point. These timetables can be access by telephoning 13 1500 or website www.cityrail.info.

Ferries depart & arrive from Wentworth Point wharf at the end of Hill Road. The timetables for this service can be accessed on either telephone 13 1500 or www.sydneyferries.info

Millennium Parklands - A vast amount of parkland including wonderful natural coastal bush stretching virtually from the M4 in the south to the harbour in the north. It includes a huge amount of walking and cycling tracks and is accessed directly off Hill Road, Wentworth Point

Bicentennial Park - Another huge delightfully landscaped parkland with ornamental lakes right through to natural wetlands on Wentworth Point. Ideal for picnics and family fun. Accessed from Australia Ave or Bennelong Road.

The Parklands - This is a collection of areas from The Village Green off Bennelong Road to Heritage Park off Holker Street.
